SOCIALEYES is a social media publishing tool. Users upload their own content and publish it to social accounts they control; we host uploaded media only transiently, for delivery, and delete files from our servers shortly after the posts that use them have been delivered. We respect the intellectual-property rights of others and expect our users to do the same.
1. Reporting infringement (takedown notice)
If you believe content hosted or transmitted by SOCIALEYES infringes your copyright, send a notice to copyright@socialeyes.co with the subject “Copyright notice” including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The URL or other precise identification of the material you want removed (for SOCIALEYES-hosted media this is a socialeyes.co/api/media/… URL; for published posts, the URL of the post on the destination platform).
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
On receipt of a valid notice we will promptly remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the user who uploaded it. Note that content already published to third-party platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and others) is hosted by those platforms — removal there requires a notice to the platform in question; we will remove our hosted copy and, where the post was scheduled but not yet delivered, cancel the delivery.
2. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including: identification of the removed material and its former location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; your name, address, and telephone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the courts at your address (or, if outside the US, of the courts where SOCIALEYES may be found); and your signature. Unless the original complainant files a court action, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days.
3. Repeat infringers
We track infringement notices against accounts. Accounts that accumulate repeated valid notices are terminated. We may also terminate accounts after a single notice for egregious infringement.
4. India grievance mechanism
For complaints under India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Intermediary Guidelines, contact our grievance contact at grievance@socialeyes.co. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within the statutory period.
5. Misrepresentation
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can expose you to liability (including under 17 U.S.C. §512(f)). Please make sure your notice or counter-notice is accurate before sending it.
